Pamela Zapata is the Founder and CEO of Society 18, a bicoastal agency specializing in influencer management and marketing with a focus on multicultural and multiethnic content creators. Based in Los Angeles, Pamela has spent the last 15 years shaping a successful career in influencer strategy, integrated marketing, talent relations, casting, and production.
Throughout her career, Zapata has worked for some of the biggest networks, brands, and agencies in the industry. Before launching Society 18, she was the Senior Director of Influencer Marketing at Starpower, where she led influencer campaigns for high-profile beauty brands like Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Aveda, and La Mer. Pamela played a key role in developing and executing campaigns, while managing strategy, client relationships, and talent partnerships. Prior to that, Pamela was the Director of Influencer Marketing at United Entertainment Group where she led influencer strategy and partnerships for Unilever brands including Dove, Suave, Axe, and Popsicle.
Pamela’s career also includes roles at E! Entertainment, Ryan Seacrest Productions and Style Haul where she focused on integrated marketing, talent development, and production. Over the years, she’s built a strong network of valuable relationships, using influencers and talent to drive digital campaigns, brand partnerships, and on-air programming that generate results and boost business growth.
A proud first-generation Dominican-American and bilingual Latina, Pamela is passionate about amplifying diverse voices in the digital space. Her work has garnered recognition from top industry outlets like Forbes, Business Insider, WWD, Yahoo! Finance, Ad Age, Success Magazine, and GirlBoss.
